  • 4-MMSCFD biogas
  • Jurisdictional & environmental agency compliance
  • PHMSA compliance
  • Emissions reduction

Scope of work

Project summary

Ameresco engaged Audubon for integrated engineering and designconstruction managementsurveys, and environmental permitting on a landfill gas (LFG) to renewable natural gas (RNG) pipeline.

For the clean energy project, civil topographic, wetland, cultural, biological, and soil resistivity surveys were self-performed by Audubon, and permits were secured for construction from each jurisdictional and environmental agency. To ensure safety for the RNG pipeline, Audubon also completed a class location analysis
for Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) standards.

Audubon’s multidiscipline expertise on the RNG pipeline enabled Ameresco to reduce landfill CO2 emissions while delivering up to 4 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSFCD) of biogas to local natural gas transmission providers.
