PROJECT EXPERIENCE
EPC + Fabrication for Gas-Treating Facility Upgrade
EPC + Fabrication for Gas-Treating Facility Upgrade
Client:
Natural Gas Infrastructure Operator
Location:
East Texas
Project summary:
As a turnkey engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), and fabrication services provider, Audubon was selected to execute a comprehensive design-build solution for a gas-treating facility in East Texas. Audubon enhanced the facility’s capacity for amine treatment, dehydration, and compression to support increased natural gas production.
Audubon’s team led the front-end engineering and design (FEED) and detailed engineering phases, developing
designs for critical systems including an advanced amine treatment unit, a triethylene glycol (TEG) dehydration system, and a sales gas compressor.
Using a modular fabrication approach, Opero Energy assembled the pipe rack. Construction services focused on civil foundations, underground electrical, and underground piping to support these systems and ensure a streamlined build process.
Audubon’s EPC team also managed balance-of-plant activities and enacted strict safety and quality compliance.
After the engineering and construction solutions delivered by Audubon, the plant’s natural gas meets the stringent quality specifications required for sale. The expansion by Audubon supports our client’s initiatives for reliability and diversification of energy infrastructure along the Gulf Coast.
