PROJECT EXPERIENCE
OVADE-OGHAREFE GAS-PROCESSING PLANT
OVADE-OGHAREFE GAS-PROCESSING PLANT
Client:
Pan Ocean
Location:
Nigeria
Project summary:
Audubon was contracted by Pan Ocean to provide detailed engineering and design, project management, procurement, and commissioning and startup for the Ovade-Ogharefe gas-processing plant in West Africa. For this greenfield project, the exploration and production company prioritized efficient operations and
environmental awareness to harness its natural gas resources.
The gas-processing plant was designed to handle 130 MMSCFD of natural gas, with a 12,000-BPD condensate stabilization unit and 13 engine-driven reciprocating compressor units for a combined total of 45,000 HP. Plant utilities comprised flare, drain, instrument air, control system, firewater system, and associated plant infrastructure. All modular processing units were fabricated in the US and shipped to the site for installation.
Utilizing Audubon’s comprehensive engineering services for Ovade-Ogharefe, Pan Ocean furthered its pursuit to efficiently produce natural gas in the underdeveloped Nigerian market.
