Audubon Wins Dual EPC Contracts for Midstream Energy Operator

Parallel projects will expand Delaware Basin gas-processing capacity

HOUSTON, September 3, 2026–Following a competitive bid process with leading EPC firms, Audubon Companies has been selected to deliver two major gas-processing projects for a midstream operator in the Delaware Basin—a 330 million-scf/d greenfield gas-treating facility and a 200 million-scf/d brownfield gas-processing expansion. Executing under separate EPC contracts and progressing simultaneously, Audubon’s engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction teams will increase regional gas-processing capacity while delivering both facilities to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Integrated project delivery across disciplines + active sites

As part of the dual award for the Delaware Basin energy infrastructure buildout, Audubon will deliver engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and precommissioning services under an integrated, turnkey EPC model. Our teams will work on expedited timelines in close coordination across disciplines, as well as maintain alignment with vendors and stakeholders to ensure budgets, schedules, and performance targets stay on track.

The scopes include both new-facility development and existing-facility upgrade within a live production environment, requiring careful coordination of resource planning, equipment delivery, and integration of new systems.

Expanding critical processing capacity for long-term performance

The greenfield award involves the construction of a 330 million-scf/d gas-treating facility designed to process field gas through a 1,200-gal/min amine-treating system, slug catcher, triethylene glycol (TEG) dehydration, waste gas destruction systems, associated utility and electrical systems.

The brownfield project adds a 200 million-scf/d gas-processing train with a 1,600-gal/min amine unit, TEG dehydration, acid gas compression, and injection systems to support carbon sequestration. The carbon capture and sequestration addition positions the facility for both long-term processing performance and sustainability.

Self-performed construction activities will include:

pile and foundation installation
structural steel erection
equipment setting + alignment
pipe fabrication + installation
electrical + instrumentation installation
testing, precommissioning, + startup support
