Scope of work

Project summary

Murphy Oil Corporation contracted Audubon to provide detailed engineering and design, procurement and construction support services for King’s Quay floating production system (FPS). The FPS produces up to 80,000 barrels of oil and 100 million cubic feet of gas per day.

The project included engineering and design of all FPS topsides with complete oil, water, and gas processing trains. The project also included topsides interface and hull design, lifesaving equipment, marine and utility systems, power generation, accommodations, crane foundations, and other appurtenances. We also conducted HSE studies and provided automation and systems integration services.

Audubon coordinated with the fabricator and construction team in Ulsan, South Korea, to ensure the design interface was successfully executed and the project stayed on schedule and within budget.
