Project summary:

Audubon was selected to provide detailed engineering, design, and project management services for a 130,000 gallon a day (GPD) greenfield liquefied natural gas (LNG) production facility. Located in Jacksonville, Florida, the facility is the first small-scale LNG facility in the United States with the capability to load LNG into both marine vessels and trucks.

10 megawatt solar power generation units (Solar Taurus) were designed and installed as the primary power sources with buy-back capabilities to the grid. The LNG process area and balance of plant engineering and design were also included in the scope of work.

The Jacksonville LNG facility was designed to expand production capacity to an additional 480,000 GPD, as needed.
