Project summary:
Audubon’s scope of work included multidiscipline engineering design for phase I of a 4 million barrel storage terminal.
The design included storage tanks, piping and pumping systems, fire protection, and support services. Audubon also designed the truck loading facility and pipeline connections to connect the storage facility and marine terminal.
The team was based in Covington and Metairie, Louisiana, and closely coordinated with on-site contractors in Puerto Rico to successfully execute the design interface and maintain schedule.
Project overview:
- 50 MMCFD gas facility
- 195 ft. X 35 ft. barge
- Three 1,500 BBLS tanks for oil & water storage
- 18,000 ft. of 8-in./S80 pipeline
- Two underground bores: 4,800 ft. &3,000 ft.
