Audubon Offshore Brownfield Program Expands to Major Assets in the US Gulf

EPC firm well-positioned to deliver engineering and procurement services to boost production and extend asset life

HOUSTON, May 8, 2026—Today Audubon Companies, a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), fabrication, and operations and maintenance (O&M) services, is proud to announce that Shell has awarded the company an exclusive contract for engineering and procurement on its brownfield topside projects portfolio in the US Gulf.

Beginning in April 2026, Audubon is serving as Shell’s engineering and procurement provider for offshore brownfield topside projects up to $100 million total installed cost (TIC). The brownfield portfolio contract includes all Shell deepwater assets in the US Gulf. Audubon will focus on operations, maintenance, and upgrade projects to improve energy production and extend productive life. Having performed engineering work for several of Shell’s US Gulf platforms beginning in 2022, Audubon is well-positioned to support the remaining assets as a whole-portfolio service provider.

Audubon CEO David Robison remarked, “Our relationship with Shell continues to grow because of the trust we’ve built through project performance. The offshore brownfield portfolio award underscores our ability to execute projects over time with the highest levels of quality and safety. It also reflects the value our team brings to solve problems in the most challenging offshore environments.”
