Audubon Appoints Melissa McLean as Director of Marketing + Communications

McLean’s creative talent and global industry experience to boost branding, sales enablement, and digital engagement for EPC company

HOUSTON, February 8, 2024–Audubon Engineering Company (Audubon), a leading engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), fabrication, and technical services provider, announced today the appointment of Melissa McLean to the position of Director of Marketing & Communications, reporting to Chief Commercial Officer Jeffrey Gernon, PE.

Based in Houston, Melissa has highly diversified marketing, branding, and communications experience spanning 25 years in global EPC disciplines. In her new role, Melissa will lead the strategic direction and implementation of all external and internal communications to elevate the Audubon brand, deliver sales enablement tools and media, and promote engagement through customer-centric, data-driven marketing.

The appointment of McLean to Director of Marketing & Communications supports Audubon’s continued growth across the energy, power, environmental, and industrial sectors. The EPC firm’s business has expanded considerably in the last two years, evidenced by a corporate office upgrade, two prestigious ENR awards, and the addition of many new service offerings for customers in a wide variety of markets. With more than two decades leading diverse creative teams, managing EPC brands, and producing impactful communications, Melissa is well-positioned to align Audubon’s multidisciplinary capabilities with its marketing execution.

Creative talent & EPC communications veteran

Having led marketing teams and successful communications campaigns at several global EPC firms over the last 25 years, Melissa is a marketing force in the energy and industrial arena. She has a strong background in creating and maintaining brands, developing campaigns, assembling account-based marketing programs, and executing strategy across media. Notable roles include Director of Account-Based Marketing, Director of Strategic Marketing, and Global Marketing Director. In her leadership, Melissa focuses on relationship-building and connecting with stakeholders to find creative solutions. She holds a BBA from Baylor University and is a Professional Certified Marketer and Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
