Audubon Expands into California with Multidisciplinary Field and EPC Services

Established EPC and field services company to deliver sustainable solutions for California pipeline, power, utility, and clean energy operations

SAN RAMON, CA, September 25, 2023–Today, Audubon Engineering Company (Audubon), a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), field, and technical solutions for industrial markets, announced the expansion of its integrated services to California. Already an established services provider across the southern and eastern United States, Audubon now brings its multidisciplinary solutions to utility and energy companies along the West Coast to support electrical grid modernization, solar and wind development and maintenance, carbon capture and storage, water treatment, and safe pipeline transport.

Integrated field solutions for California pipeline, utility, and water industries

The addition of an Audubon California location will enable the firm to more fully and efficiently respond to the challenges faced by utility and energy companies in the region. Power providers, water facilities, pipeline operators, and oil and gas processors are working to meet soaring demand in ever-more-sustainable ways. At the same time, they must keep up with increasingly strict regulations, for which California often goes above and beyond federal standards.

For California field operations, Audubon brings knowledge and experience in construction management and inspection, surveying and right-of-way, nondestructive evaluation and material verification, environmental compliance, and integrity management. Utilizing data-driven insights and advanced technologies, the Audubon field team is dedicated to minimizing risk, improving reliability, and extending the useable life of pipeline, power, and water infrastructure across the state.

EPC expertise for reliable, sustainable energy delivery in California

Audubon’s presence in California also includes a clean energy–focused EPC division, which brings consulting, planning, design, and project management services to clients in the electric, hydrogen, decarbonization, and renewable sectors.

Locating its EPC and field experts in California affords Audubon the opportunity to help clients meet their business goals and harness government incentives—while ensuring environmental protection and safe, reliable energy delivery for California communities.

“We are excited to build on our support for energy businesses in California with innovative and flexible solutions. Adding a local Audubon office here affirms our commitment to both current and future clients in the region,” said David Robison, Audubon CEO. “The utility, oil and gas, and renewable sectors in California hold both unique challenges and unique opportunities. Our team looks forward to contributing our expertise to a more sustainable energy future.”

Audubon’s California operations are based in San Ramon just east of the Bay Area. This location expands on Audubon’s growing national and international presence in the market for field and EPC solutions, with other offices including Colorado, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, and Pennsylvania, as well as Mexico City, Mexico, and Bogota, Colombia.
