Project summary:
Audubon was appointed as EPCM and fabrication contractor for XTO Energy’s Owl CDP project, a gas processing facility located in Coyanosa, TX. The facility was designed and built-in two phases. The first phase allowed for the processing of 50,000 bpd of oil and included two 25,000 bdp oil stabilization units, inlet surge vessels, three OVHD compressors, two 25MMBTU/hr hot oil systems, two 30,000 bpd floating roof tanks, booster pumps, pipeline pumps, and oil ACT units. Plant utilities included flare, drain, instrument air, control system, power generation, and associated infrastructure. Phase two of Owl CDP included the expansion of the facility to handle 150,000 bpd of oil. Audubon also provided construction management and commissioning services to the XTO Energy project team as well as developed PSM compliant operating procedures for the facility.
Modular processing units were fabricated, shop-tested, and shipped to the site for installation by Audubon affiliate, Opero Energy.
