Scope of work

Project summary

Audubon was contracted to provide front-end engineering and design (FEED), detailed engineering and designconstruction supportproject management, and virtual reality (VR) constructability modeling for an overfill mitigation program in Louisiana.

Designed to reduce the risk of column overfill, the hazard mitigation program included new operational protocols, reconfigured piping and process systems, and additional safety integrity level (SIL)-rated systems, field devices, and process controls.

The program implemented by Audubon allowed the operator to mitigate the risks of product overfill and possible vapor cloud explosion—improving the human and environmental safety of the site.
