Project summary

Audubon provided operational technology (OT) and process control network (PCN) support for a Gulf Coast chemical plant in Texas. The on-site OT and PCN support involved installing, configuring, and supporting Experion Backup & Restore (EBR)/Acronis for Honeywell and non-Honeywell distributed control systems (DCSs), as well as optimizing and managing the EBR/Acronis server. Audubon also rolled out and enhanced operational management for McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator and Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), including end-device operating-system patching and antivirus definition delivery.

Additionally, Audubon applied its OT and PCN expertise for checkpoint and Palo Alto Networks firewall policy management, vulnerability assessment, rule hardening, remote access management, Juniper RSA token system support, user permissions, and connectivity. Audubon also managed and optimized the ESXi Hypervisor cluster, including virtual machine inventory tracking and deployment. With new backup solutions, patch management, firewall maintenance, and network segmentation and optimization, the chemical company was able to implement and maintain robust, secure operations for its Gulf Coast plant.
