PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Elk Creek Pipeline Engineering
Elk Creek Pipeline Engineering
Client:
ONEOK
Location:
Midcontinent, US
Project summary:
ONEOK’s Elk Creek pipeline is a 20-inch, nearly 820-mile pipeline transporting natural gas liquids (NGLs) from eastern Montana to its facilities in Bushton, Kansas. With 65 valve sites, 14 pump stations, and capacity for 240,000 BPD of NGLs, pipeline engineering and design required significant support and expertise.
Audubon was enlisted by the midstream services company for project management, engineering, fabrication, facilities design, and mechanical-electrical-civil design on the pipeline. Audubon also managed materials procurement, route development, mapping design, change coordination, and as-built documentation.
After support from Audubon to engineer, design, fabricate, and project-manage the Elk Creek pipeline, ONEOK achieved full completion of the pipeline and began flowing NGLs from the productive Williston, Powder River, and Denver-Julesburg basins.
