PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Diamond Gas Processing Plants
Diamond Gas Processing Plants
Client:
Apache Corporation
Location:
Texas
Project summary:
Audubon was enlisted by Apache Corporation in the Permian Basin to provide project management, detailed engineering and design, procurement, construction management, inspection, and commissioning and startup for the design and installation of three 200-MMSCFD cryogenic gas-processing plants at the company’s greenfield Diamond processing facility.
Opero Energy, an affiliate of Audubon, supplied design, procurement, and fabrication for the cryogenic plants using UOP Ortloff proprietary SRX technology. The modular processing units were fabricated and shop-tested in house before shipment and installation.
The 1.2-BSCFD Diamond processing facility included inlet compression, slug catcher and condensate stabilization, amine treatment, dehydration, pipeline pumps, storage, and other balance-of-plant infrastructure.
Audubon’s services on the Apache facility allowed the oil and gas company to safely, effectively, and efficiently process a large amount of natural gas and recover natural gas liquids (NGLs) for distribution from the Permian
Basin.
