Engineering and automation services project expands Audubon’s pipeline-transmission record of success in MidCon, USA
HOUSTON, December 6, 2022 – Audubon announced today that it has entered into an agreement with a major energy infrastructure company to support a critical gas transmission station in Wyoming. Audubon’s scope of work will include balance-of-plant detailed engineering and design, as well as project management and procurement services.
The station will be designed to fully replace the existing compression with all new components—power/control building, microturbine-based power generation, suction scrubber and discharge gas coolers, compressed air system, fuel gas supply system, and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) interface and controls. Additionally, Audubon will deliver new potable water storage.
“We are excited to help our customer achieve its emissions goals while producing sustainable energy in the US midcontinental region and beyond,” said Ryan Hanemann, president of Audubon Engineering Company LP.
“This project award represents a leap forward in Audubon’s footprint in the midstream market; it is a testament to the efficacy of our end-to-end service capabilities and commitment to our clients’ success.”
The project is a strategic venture in the operator’s efforts to modernize its infrastructure and improve air quality by reducing emissions. It also advances Audubon’s position as a leading provider of integrated engineering, construction, fabrication, and technical services for the energy industry.
