Audubon Welcomes Kaushik Patrawala as Executive Vice President of Downstream

Patrawala’s extensive leadership and EPC project experience will support Audubon’s petrochemical and refining clients in meeting efficiency and sustainability goals

HOUSTON, April 18, 2023–Audubon Engineering Company (Audubon), a leading provider of engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), fabrication, and technical services, announced today the appointment of Kaushik Patrawala to the position of Executive Vice President, Downstream, reporting to Ryan Hanemann, President.

Based in Houston, Kaushik has highly diversified engineering and leadership experience spanning more than 20 years across EPC proficiencies and across the globe. For his EVP role, Kaushik will lead Audubon’s downstream team in extending the life of petrochemical and refining infrastructure while implementing efficient, sustainable operational solutions.

Boosting downstream EPC service delivery

This EVP appointment will build on and expand Audubon’s service capabilities in the petrochemical processing and downstream oil and gas markets. Facing tightening regulations and aging infrastructure, plant operators are seeking new technologies and solutions to achieve both increased throughput and emissions reduction through the energy transition, especially for brownfield facilities. With Kaushik’s leadership, Audubon’s downstream group will respond to the modern demands of this critical market with agility, flexibility, and expertise.

Diversified career in engineering, operations, & leadership

Before joining Audubon, Kaushik served in VP roles leading project delivery and operations across the US Gulf Coast, the eastern US, and Canada. He has extensive domestic and international experience in downstream oil and gas and project execution, including construction, commissioning, and start-up. He has been successful in growing regional EPC portfolios, leading complex teams comprising 1,500+ professionals, and managing governance for multibillion-dollar projects in chemicals and fuels, conventional resources, and low-carbon/clean energy. Kaushik holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
