To meet its continually growing business, Audubon has promoted David Robison from Vice President of Finance to the new position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), announced Audubon Chief Executive Officer Lee Beckett.
Robison began his career at Audubon in 2011 as Corporate Controller. In his new role as CFO, Robison will continue to be responsible for all financial and accounting functions, including payroll, accounts payable, billing and accounts receivable, general ledger, internal auditing, treasury, and finance. In addition, he will oversee Audubon’s Information Technology department and will continue to report to Audubon Chief Administrative Officer and Managing Partner Bob Rosamond in New Orleans.
“Robison has been instrumental in in providing sound financial and cost performance advice to benefit Audubon,” noted Rosamond. “Under his direction, Audubon has instituted state-of-the art accounting functions, helping to reduce costs both inside the accounting department and within the entire organization.”
Robison has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Accounting from Louisiana State University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Louisiana. He has more than eleven years of diversified accounting leadership experience gained in his tenure with one of the prestigious Big Four accounting firms, as well as from serving as controller in petroleum-related companies.
