PLC UPGRADE AND ON-LINE CUTOVER
Location: Offshore Gulf of Mexico
Client: Offshore Operator
A Gulf of Mexico offshore platform operator contracted Audubon Companies to upgrade the existing facility PLC, SIS, and HMI systems. Our Automation & Controls team provided project management services, procurement, programming, graphics development, testing, and onsite deployment. To eliminate the need for facility downtime, a detailed on-line cutover procedure was developed and tested prior to implementation. The SIS and BPCS were cutover successfully without interruption of facility production.
