PROJECT

KEOTA GAS PROCESSING AND LNG FACILITY

Location: Colorado

Client: Noble Energy

Keota LNG Plant | Audubon Companies

Audubon Companies provided the engineering, procurement, and construction management (EPCM), fabrication, and start-up and commissioning support for Noble Energy’s Keota Cryogenic & Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) gas processing facility in rural northern Weld County. This was the first LNG plant in the state and is also one of the largest gas processing facilities in Colorado. The facility includes condensate stabilization, inlet compression, amine treating, cryogenic natural gas liquids (NGL) recovery, product storage, residue compression, and an LNG facility. The modular processing units were fabricated and tested in Houston, TX, and shipped to the site for installation.  Solar power generation units designed for 8 MW (solar taurus units) were installed as the power generation system was designed for the primary power source with buy-back capabilities to the grid.
